Help brave Raife, 4, fight leukemia and support his family through an incredibly tough and uncertain journey.
Auckland
Our beloved 4-year-old nephew, Raife, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Like many families, everything changed in an instant. What began as health concerns quickly became hospital visits, tests, and a diagnosis no parent expects to hear.
Raife is a bright, adventurous little boy with a huge smile who lights up every room. Instead of playing and making memories with family and friends, he is now facing a long and challenging treatment journey.
As if this wasn’t enough, Raife has also experienced a serious complication during treatment, requiring time in ICU and extending his stay at Starship Hospital by over a month.
Raife’s family lives in Hamilton, but much of his care is in Auckland. This means frequent travel, long periods away from home, and significant disruption to daily life — all while his parents focus on supporting him.
Alongside the emotional toll, the financial strain is significant. Travel, accommodation, meals, and time off work quickly add up, especially with extended hospital stays.
We’ve created this page to help ease that burden so Raife’s family can focus on what matters most — being by his side.
Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support Raife and his family. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page would mean so much.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
As Raife’s uncle, I’m helping raise funds to support him and his family through this journey.
Funds will help cover travel between Hamilton and Auckland, accommodation, meals, parking, childcare, and time off work, easing the financial pressure on Raife’s family during treatment.
