Support Sami & Her Beautiful Whānau Through Cancer

  • Mutant Powers Activated - Target Locked on Cancer

      12 August 2025

Sami got the greatest news the other day - she has the mutant gene! Next step… learning karate and eating pizza like a true ninja turtle. But in all seriousness, this is massive. It means she can get targeted therapy, which has already started. Even better, it’s just one pill a week. Science is awesome, and we owe a huge thank you to all the brilliant scientists making this possible.

Sami is as upbeat and determined as ever, ready to smash this cancer and get on with living a full and long life.

To everyone who has donated so far, thank you. Your generosity restores faith in humanity and shows what community and family really mean. Every bit of support helps Sami focus on the fight ahead, and she is beyond grateful to have you all in her corner.

💖 From the bottom of my heart — thank you! 💞

I can’t even begin to express how much your kindness, generosity, and love mean to me. Every donation, every message, and every bit of support has wrapped me in the most incredible blanket of hope.

I feel so relieved to have the EGFR exon 19 deletion gene mutation, which allows me to take just one pill a day — a treatment often called the “miracle drug.” This gives me the best chance to fight this cancer while still living my life.

The next six weeks will be a waiting game as we see if it’s working well enough for me to avoid chemotherapy — so please, keep those manifestations, prayers, and high vibes coming. Knowing I’m not walking this journey alone gives me more strength than I can put into words.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing beside me. Together, we’re keeping hope alive. 🌸✨ LOVE SAMI
