Support Sara's Studies In Mental Health Coaching

Sara is 23 years old with a strong passion for mental health and empowering others to overcome their trauma, and grow into stronger individuals.

Her passion for supporting individuals going through hardships started from a young age, and led her to complete a Certificate in Youth Work, and a Diploma in Youth and Community Studies. Since then, she has been a church intern, youth leader, and teacher’s support. She also completed a Certificate in Health and Wellbeing in the Mental health and Addiction support strand at Wintec in 2021, including a work placement at Women’s Refuge. Throughout all of this Sara has journeyed through the trauma of being bullied, being caught in physically, psychologically, and sexually abusive relationships, and trying to support her younger brother through his mental health and addiction battle, which he tragically lost at the age of 19.

Although Sara has lived a very challenging life, she continues to push forward with the dream of helping others, to journey alongside them in their struggles, and to bring about change that the mental health system needs. To further her expertise in this area, Sara wants to continue her studies at Prekure, to become a Qualified Mental Health Coach. This institute has a vision to provide people the tools they need to improve the health outcomes of themselves and others.
