Help Seth Stylie race the 2026 UCI DH World Cup season and represent New Zealand overseas.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Hey everyone, I’m Seth Stylie, a downhill mountain biker from Christchurch, New Zealand competing in the 2026 UCI Downhill Elite World Cup season.
At the start of May I raced the opening round of the UCI Downhill World Cup in South Korea, my goal was to do 2 smooth and consistent Qualification runs which was achieved finishing 54th in Q1 and 33rd in Q2, about 5s outside qualification against the fastest riders in the world.
I’m currently aiming to continue my season by racing some of the upcoming World Cups in the European leg of the season. These events take me across Loudenvielle (France), Leogang (Austria), Lenzerheide (Switzerland), La Thuile (Italy), and Pal Arinsal (Andorra) and hopefully try to get to Whistler (Canada) later this year.
Competing at this level has been a dream of mine since I was 8 years old, and I truly believe I have the potential to keep progressing with more experience, consistency, and support around me. Showing up to these races and proving myself against the world’s best is a massive part of that journey.
The reality is that racing internationally comes with huge costs, including flights, accommodation, transport, food, insurance, race entries, bike parts, and mechanical support. I’ve been funding as much of the season myself as possible and with a bit of help from dad too, but any support genuinely helps keep me racing and chasing this opportunity.
Thank you to everyone backing me and following the journey this season.
Funds will go towards flights, accommodation, transport, food, insurance, race fees, bike parts, mechanic support and travel costs throughout the 2026 World Cup season. Any support helps keep me racing overseas representing New Zealand.
