  • Your Support is Rebuilding My Life

    Kia ora koutou katoa :)

Firstly, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has donated and shown me love and support. Your generosity has truly lifted me out of pain — I can’t fully express how much it means to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Because of you, I feel alive again, and I now see a bright future ahead.

I’m currently at the halfway point of my treatment journey. The clinic recommends a minimum of 16 CAP treatments, and while I’ve made incredible progress, I still have a way to go — both medically and financially. So, with humility, I’m asking for continued support to help reach the goal that will allow me to complete this healing process.

While the visible improvements in my skin are amazing, it’s still fragile beneath the surface. Ongoing CAP treatments will help rebuild its strength and resilience.

This photo of my legs were taken just last week — the transformation since I arrived is truly surreal.

    Ngā mihi maioha 🫰🏽

  • Raising Funds to Support the full Journey

    Tēnā koutou katoa,

After consulting with the clinic it is expected that I have a minimum of 16 sessions. I have completed 6 and my skin is healing so quickly that I am so impressed by the results and I am not in anymore pain thanks to every one of you. I am so humbly grateful to everyone who has donated and supported to getting me here to Bangkok, let alone starting treatment. With that being said I am needing to push to reach my financial goal to be able to pay for the rest of the treatments plus cj serum and cleansers, my rent here in Bangkok, living expenses:, visa runs out of the country and alternative therapies.

Once my skin gets to a rate that it can stand on its own two feet without CAP, I will be able to maintain keeping my skin strong by swimming in the sea and sun which I will have to look at planning to go somewhere after finishing CAP as it will be winter in New Zealand by that time.

I would be grateful with even just a dollar 🙏🏽

    Ngā mihi maioha

Kia Ora everyone, I just wanted to first and foremost thank everyone who has been on this journey with me supporting me. I am finally in Bangkok and I just finished my third session of cap treatment and all I can say is that my healing has just accelerated beyond belief in such a short amount of time. It feels so good to finally be out of the biggest brunt of TSW but I got there with the help of all of you. I am so grateful 🙏🏽🫶🏽

  • BOOKED AND READY TO GO

      24 January 2025

I am happy to announce that everything is ready to me and mum to leave for treatment in Bangkok, Thailand.

We leave next week happy to be a step closer to healing and some definite relief.

I want to thank everyone so deeply that has shown support, donated and even sent me homemade gifts ranging from creams, ointments and detoxing kits that I cannot wait to try once my skin heals its barrier and my immune system is able to stand on its own.

In saying that, the healing is always going to be non-linear dealing with topical steroid withdrawal and the costs to make this treatment happen for me and help assist me living in Bangkok that we could keep the donations going, I would truely appreciate it.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you,

    Te Rima

  • Goal update

      4 December 2024

Firstly I want to thank each and every one of you who have donated to this page to help me on my healing journey and getting me to Thailand for the CAP therapy. I am overwhelmed with the amount of love and support I have received since posting my condition on my social media platforms, I did not expect it at all. I appreciate every single one of you, my family, my friends, and even people I don't know who have contributed, thank you all so so much.

Just as I thought we were nearing closer to my goal, I received the costs of the CAP therapy from the clinic in Thailand, who have been recommended to me by so many other TSW warriors, and its going to cost more than what I expected so I have had to increase the goal post.

This amount will help with mine and my mothers return flights to Bangkok from Auckland, NZ, accommodation, transport costs, food and utilities, and the CAP therapy for 6 months. I am bringing my mother with me as my support for the first month over the holidays to help me during the first stages of therapy. Our goal is to leave for Bangkok next week so I can go through the consultation and start my first session as soon as possible. The sooner I can get there the better.

I believe everything will fall into place at the right time and with everyone's koha (donations) and prayers this will all come to past.

Thank you all again for your love and support.

Ngā manaakitanga ki a koutou kātoa

  • Medical costs and Parental support

      14 November 2024

As I have over-looked the costs of everything I have adjusted the end goal to support medical costs and I will be taking my mother with me as I am too debilitated to travel and look after myself at this raw stage.

      Hi Te Rima.

I was feeling reassured when I read your article on stuff last night. I thought to contact you but can’t find a direct contact as my 22 year old son is suffering the same thing as you. I thought it would be useful if we can talk to you about it? It would be kindly appreciated. Let us know if you can. Maria and Dylon
