Please help us ensure the future of our beloved community-run kindergarten in Te Puru.
Like many small early childhood centres, we are navigating a tough financial climate. The funding we receive isn't enough to cover our operating expenses, and we can no longer shoulder the shortfall.
We made important changes in February this year — extending our opening hours and making our service more accessible to local families. It’s working: our roll has grown, our outdoor space is full of laughter, and our tamariki are thriving through play, learning, and regular beach and park adventures.
But we’re not quite there yet. We’ve made great progress, but haven’t yet reached the enrolment target we need to be sustainable. We have all the ingredients for long-term success—dedicated staff, a supportive community, and happy children—we just need some help to bridge the gap.
Our families are working hard to fundraise but your donation will help keep the doors open while we work to get the remaining enrolments we need. Thank you for supporting our kindy!
About us
We are a non-profit incorporated society and registered charity. With dedicated teachers and managed by a volunteer parent committee, our kindergarten provides a welcoming, nurturing environment for our local children & whanau.
Use of funds
Funds raised will be spent on the kindergarten's operating expenses.
