Mother is raising her two remaining sons all by herself. She is doing it with a smile.

Canterbury

Please join my hand in raising money for a brave friend of mine who has lost her beloved husband Rashid Naeem(49) and her eldest son Talha Naeem(21) on 15th of March 2019 in the Christchurch shooting. She has two more sons one is 19 and other one is turning 6 in June. She says it is going to be long journey but she is going to be okay.

My friend is extremely proud of her husband as he fought with the shooter till his last breath. I see a glow on her face that I cannot express in words. She smiles with peace as she talks. After asking many times about any help that she requires she says pray for me and others.

When her eldest son got first his full-time job as a civil engineer he asked his mother to quit her job and take rest at home for sometime. She tells me- "Talha said, mom you have worked so hard to raise us now you should rest. I am there." But now he is not there people. You and I should do something here to support her.

Today I met her two sons, Abdullah(19) and Ayaan(5). Both are beautiful well-mannered boys. Endless tears rolled my cheers as I looked into their innocent eyes. Little one has no clue of what has hit the family and to be fair he does not need to know now. However, Abdullah said he misses his elder brother. 'He was a friend, a mentor to me. I go to his (Talha's) room and sit on his bed where we used to talk' says Abdullah.

I want to make sure these two boys and the mother have a good life together. I want your help in making sure these lovely innocent people have enough in their home. I want to make sure that Abdullah and Ayaan never miss out on field trips, sports gear, books and even ice-cream if they would like one.

Let us join hands to raise money for a brave mother and her two beautiful sons who still believe in love, kindness and forgiveness. All the money raised is going to a verified bank account of Ambeern Naeem.

In the picture you see my hand holding her hand.
