Support the NZDF Invictus Team and help us fund more specialist rugby wheelchairs for New Zealand's wheelchair rugby competitors.
The Invictus Games empowers servicemen, servicewomen, and veterans to recover from military-related injuries. New Zealand is sending a team to the Invictus Games 2025, held in Canada from February 8 to 16 2025.
In the latest stage in an enduring partnership with New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) Invictus Team, Sudima Hotels has donated funds to buy a new $15,000 highly specialist rugby wheelchair (made by Melrose Wheelchairs) for the team to use in wheelchair rugby matches. But the team needs more!
Fifteen rugby wheelchairs in total are needed to support the NZDF Invictus Team competitors, who are both serving and former NZDF members, including veterans. Currently, only three members of the 10-strong rugby team have the necessary wheelchair.
Sudima Hotels is inviting New Zealanders to donate and support the hotel group’s efforts to fundraise for further rugby wheelchairs. 100% of donations go directly to funding more rugby wheelchairs for the NZDF Invictus team.
