Support the Phelps Family as Simon battles Stage 4 Liver Cancer

$13,719 donated
Given by 99 generous donors in one year

Help support Simon, Kristin & Felix beat the odds and gain more time together.

Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

In late March 2024 Simon was diagnosed with an incurable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma - a rare and aggressive form of Cancer that has spread extensively throughout his liver.

After undergoing chemotherapy late last year, it kept the cancer at bay but unfortunately in the past month it has become even more aggressive. Simon is ready to fight this heart wrenching prognosis to be here for Felix and Kristin. We are ready to throw everything we can at this cancer & have more time.

The funds raised here will be used to access adjunct non-funded therapies such as IV vitamin C, ozone therapy and, potentially even more options that will help extend Simon's life & ease financial stress.

We are keenly aware that times are difficult for everyone right now and just being able to share this page to show how much we all love Simon & want him to beat this is our top priority.

Simon is reluctant to ask for financial help, though if anyone he knew was in his position, he'd give anything to help them.

Saddest news  20 June 2025

My love, my rock… 💔

It is with the most broken heart that i have to write this, on Tuesday 17th June Simons fight with Cancer came to an end. His strength to get through the shittiest card he was ever dealt was immeasurable. He is now at peace and reunited with his best mate Chubs.

For all who can make it, a service to celebrate Simon's life will be held at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga this coming Saturday 21st June at 2pm.

Followed by a gathering & 420💨 at the Tauranga Rowing Club on Devonport Road from 4pm 👊🏻

Also for those who can’t attend, we will have a live stream of the service.

https://vimeo.com/event/5207931/8cb201f3cf

The Stream will become 'Live" approximately 10 minutes before the service is due to start.

A heartfelt thankyou to everyone who made a donation to helping Simon have more time with Felix & I. I don’t know how i will ever be able to repay you.

Much Love and extreme sadness all mixed into one,

Kristin & Felix Phelps
