Many of you will know that Damian left us on Friday, October the 4th. He left behind his ex-partner but lifelong friend Miriam, and their three children, Phoenix, Lola and Ezra.

Damian loved his kids with all his heart and wanted the best for them.

We have set this page up for anyone who would like to donate to support the family.

We want the funds to go to any up and coming expenses related to the kids or to start an education fund for them.

I am the sister of Miriam Foon ex-partner but a lifelong friend of Damian Kotsapa, who recently passed away leaving her with their three young children.

Use of funds

We would like a fund as a back-up for any arising costs for the kids needs especially concerning school trips, sports and ultimately to provide future education fees for them.

Miriam, I’m so sad to hear about Damian. I have such fond memories of visiting you, Damian and Phoenix when you lived at West Road many years ago. Damian taught me how to roast beetroot. That really was a lightbulb moment! As my parents live in Raumati, I’m going to make more effort to keep in touch. Looking forward to staying connected.
