    To all the donors,

    Komal has asked me to close the page quite a few times but I decided to keep it going for as long as I could.

    She then called me 2 days ago and said, Amnah, whatever we got is sufficient for me. I’ll be fine. I have seen so many other pages on givealittle, people who are dying, who are sick, sick kids...I’m in a lot better place than them. Whatever we have collected is more than I ever expected.

    So on her repeated insistence I closed the page. Thank you so much for your support, donations and plenty of well wishes.

    Hi all donors,

    We did not expect this. After getting donations from all of NZ, Australia and India. We have now also received donations from US, UK and Fiji! How amazing is technology and humanity. To be able to help someone you have never met and is sitting on the other side of the world. Thank you Give A Little for making this world so small.

    Thank you so much to all the donors. I am so overwhelmed by the response that we are getting. I was not expecting anything really - Komal

    Thank you to each and every one of you. Around 80% of the donations have come from you Aucklanders! Also got donations from Nelson, Bay of Plenty, Otago, Northland, Canterbury, Australia and India!

    I'm so excited that the fundraiser have reached $1500 in 3 days by around 30 donations. Thank you so much for every one who has donated so far. Please share it and help me raise as much as you can. Share it with your colleagues, print it and place it in the lunchrooms or cafes. Your help is much appreciated. We are 3% there :)
