Hi Dr. Jacky,

My company, Good Chow NZ Limited, donated 2000 bottles of soy sauce for a nationwide charity sale to raise funds for Allan's family. Majority of the money raised from our first round of fundraising on 3 Feb were donated under Wen Zhou Association (my husband is from Wen Zhou) but fundraising sales in Wellington and Christchurch were on-going. We have raised a further $2880 and would like to pass the money onto Allan's family. Could you please advise? Thanks!

We are very sorry for this tragedy accident happened to such a nice person.

Hi Dr Lam, firstly thank you for setting up this page for this family. Also, you note that the money raised will go to funeral costs and the children's education, but could the money also just be given to the family to use at their discretion eg. mortgage payments, a holiday maybe, etc etc. I'm sure the mother/wife will use the funds in the best interests of her children.
