Supporting Tiana as she recovers from life-changing medical events and begins her long road to recovery.

Our beautiful Tiana has sadly suffered a series of life-changing medical events at just 31 years old. Following a skydive on December 28 2025, Tiana tore a vessel at the base of her brain and became unresponsive, requiring CPR. She suffered a stroke impacting her body and speech, and has been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, affecting her brain. We are beyond grateful that Tiana is still here with us and continue to be inspired by her incredible strength and resilience. She is now beginning the long road to recovery and relearning the fundamentals of everyday life.

These sudden medical events have completely turned life upside down for Tiana - physically, emotionally, and mentally, as well as financially. She is unable to work for an extended period during her recovery. Although ACC will provide some financial support, Tiana has a long and challenging road to recovery ahead. We have created this page to help ease the financial burden so Tiana's focus can remain on her healing.

Use of funds

All funds will go directly to Tiana and her living costs and recovery. This includes any costs associated with unfunded physio and rehab, transport, any unfunded medical expenses, and any additional care required during her healing process.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
