Help support Tiff's battle against Stage 4 Cancer
Hamilton East, Hamilton
Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals.
We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping our sister, daughter, mum and dear friend, Tiffany Corbett, as she fights a challenging battle against bowel cancer. Tiff, is a remarkable woman who has dedicated her life to raising her two boys, Ben (32 years old) and Luca (15 years old). She has always been a pillar of strength, working tirelessly and making countless sacrifices for her children.
Approximately 18 months ago, Tiff received devastating news that she had a large malignant tumour in her bowel. Tiff underwent six months of chemotherapy, initially believing it had granted her a reprieve. However, she recently received the heartbreaking news that the cancer has returned aggressively, now at stage 4.
Tiff has resolved to confront this disease head-on, fighting on to spend as many precious days as possible with her beloved boys. However, her journey ahead is uncertain. The cancer has spread to her stomach lining and lymph nodes, rendering it inoperable.
The funds raised by your donations will primarily be allocated to cover the fortnightly costs of her unfunded treatment and help alleviate the financial burden that comes with fighting cancer.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Tiff's life and provide her with much-needed support during this challenging time.
Let's show Tiff that she is not alone in this fight.
Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.
Her brother.
Tiff requires access to a particular drug (Avastin) which unfortunately is not funded by the government. She would also like to engage in a new kind of cancer treatment provided by the Care Oncology Clinic to help offer an acceptable quality of life. Examples of possible treatments are Ozone therapy, Infrared treatment, and a lot of supplements as provided by the Cancer Care protocol. We are considering other treatment options overseas and will keep you updated.
Rest In Peace Tiffany 23 April 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Tiff’s passing after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. She peacefully took her last breath on Monday morning the 22nd of April surrounded by loved ones, in her home, exactly as she wished. Tiffany's unwavering strength, humor, and resilience inspired all who knew her. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her spirit, bringing laughter and joy to those around her until the end.
Tiffany expressed her gratitude for the generous support and kindness she received, particularly for the medication that gave her the extra time to be with her beloved sons, funded by many of you. She remained deeply touched by your generosity.
In accordance with Tiffany's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 29th, at 2 pm at the Narrows Landing in Tamahere. All who knew Tiffany are invited to join us in honoring her vibrant spirit. In tribute to her radiant personality, please feel free to dress in colour.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love, support, and memories shared. Tiffany's legacy of strength, love, and laughter will forever live on in our hearts.
