Help to raise funds towards bringing Creed back home to New Zealand from Peru, to lay him to rest with his big brother.

Auckland

In the early hours of July 17th, just two days after his 28th birthday, our family were devastated to receive the heart-breaking news that our much-loved boy, my little brother, Creed Norman Pierce had tragically passed away in Peru.

Creed had been living in Peru, South America since the end of last year to pursue his new business venture. We are setting up this page to help raise funds toward bringing our Creedy Boy back to New Zealand via Auckland – his home since his teenage years, for all who loved him to say their goodbyes.

Then on to Invercargill where much of his family are, too farewell him, then finally lay him with his big brother, to Rest in Peace.

There are huge expenses in getting Creed back to New Zealand including my poor poor father having to go and bring his son back so we can say our goodbyes. Therefore, every single cent would be so greatly appreciated by our Whanau.

It feels surreal that he has gone and that we are even having to write this. Our hearts are so so heavy and broken right now for our beautiful big boy. Creed touched the lives of many many people far and wide and will be missed fiercely.

Many people have asked how they can help us during this time and if this is a way that those of you can do that, it will be so very much appreciated.

So from the bottom of our hearts, I thank you for being able to help us in this time of need.

Creedy Boy  11 August 2019

Hi everyone, sorry I have not made any updates in some time, it's been a very hectic time.

I just want to say thank you so so much to each and every one of you. If I could email you all individually and thank you I would! My family and I are just completely blown away, we never thought that we would ever receive so much and even from complete strangers. It is helping us to restore faith.

The update on Creed is that he has now been laid to rest with his big brother in Invercargill, after three long and painful weeks, we managed to bring our boy home and we could not have done it without each and every one of you.

You don’t know just how much this means to us and especially my Mother, to be able to see her boy and kiss him good by has bought her some peace, although her heart will stay broken for him forever. If she did not get this opportunity then it would be so much worse than it already is.

Thankfully we were able to pay up front, some of the initial costs in getting Creed home and then be invoiced for the rest. This is adding up to around the 50k mark which is unbelievable Having almost reached that amount on this pay has been a life saver for me and my whanau.

The page will remain open for a little while longer yet.

Again I wish I could thank each and every one of you individually. I have scrolled through some of my emails and the heart felt messages and in due course I will get around to reading all 500+ messages.

Te Amo, e te whanau xxxx
