Hi everyone, sorry I have not made any updates in some time, it's been a very hectic time.

I just want to say thank you so so much to each and every one of you. If I could email you all individually and thank you I would! My family and I are just completely blown away, we never thought that we would ever receive so much and even from complete strangers. It is helping us to restore faith.

The update on Creed is that he has now been laid to rest with his big brother in Invercargill, after three long and painful weeks, we managed to bring our boy home and we could not have done it without each and every one of you.

You don’t know just how much this means to us and especially my Mother, to be able to see her boy and kiss him good by has bought her some peace, although her heart will stay broken for him forever. If she did not get this opportunity then it would be so much worse than it already is.

Thankfully we were able to pay up front, some of the initial costs in getting Creed home and then be invoiced for the rest. This is adding up to around the 50k mark which is unbelievable Having almost reached that amount on this pay has been a life saver for me and my whanau.

The page will remain open for a little while longer yet.

Again I wish I could thank each and every one of you individually. I have scrolled through some of my emails and the heart felt messages and in due course I will get around to reading all 500+ messages.

Te Amo, e te whanau xxxx

Thank you all so much again for your generosity.

To update you all, we keep unfortunatly receiving delay after delay from Peru. It is now looking like Creed wont be back in New Zealand until next weekend!

Every little bit of money we are receiving makes such a difference in helping make this all possible.

I never thought in a million years it would cost so much and be such an ordeal to bring your loved one home to say good bye.

Again thank you all so so so much

  • Change in cost to bring Creed home

      22 July 2019

We are absolutely blown away with everyone’s generosity and support, we are truly amazed and so grateful, gosh he was loved by so many!

I am posting this update as we have now found out that the cost of Creed returning home to NZ is going to be much, much, more than we had initially anticipated - possibly double! We had firstly placed a ballpark figure without any definite knowledge of the actual costs involved.

Anyway, this post is to say that the goal may be changed on our givealittle page, and if anyone was wondering why, this is the reasoning behind it.

So if everyone can keep sharing this page as soooo many of you already have, this would be amazing.

Again, thank you so, so much from the bottom of our hearts xxx
