Our kaitiaki rōpū has been invited to present a workshop at the Trauma-Aware Conference, and we need your support to make this possible! Our workshop, titled "Imagine if it was all about relationships! Exploring our educator responses to behaviour using a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens from Aotearoa/New Zealand,"
Our team, including Caroline McGlinchy & Donna Eden from the Incredible Families Trust, and
Ngaretta Strong & Tiana Ranfurly from He Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens, will deliver our workshop
The Trauma-Aware Conference will take place in Brisbane, from 31st Oct to 2nd Nov.
Presenting at this conference is an amazing opportunity to share our insights and contribute to the ongoing conversation about trauma-informed education. Fundraising will cover travel, accommodation, & conference fees for our team. Your support will enable us to bring our voices to this important forum and ensure that culturally responsive, relationship-centred approaches to working with tamariki are at the heart of educational practices.
