Supporting Jay's recovery after a brain haemorrhage, while helping Kim and their two young boys through this difficult time.
Mount Maunganui, Tauranga
We're raising funds to support Jay, Kim and their two young boys, Eli (9) and Kade (5), after Jay suddenly suffered a serious brain haemorrhage.
Jay remains under specialist care at Waikato Hospital. While the bleeding has thankfully stabilised, doctors are still unable to determine the cause and further scans will be needed in several weeks. Jay is also experiencing significant vision impairment, and his recovery and return to work remain uncertain.
Jay is a hardworking builder, Kim runs her own cake business, and together they're well-known members of the Arataki and Mount Maunganui community.
With Jay unable to work for the foreseeable future and Kim needing to care for him while supporting their young family, the financial pressure is growing. Funds raised will help with everyday expenses including groceries, household bills, mortgage or rent, fuel, children's costs, and travel to medical appointments.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow Jay to focus on his recovery. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
I know Jay and Kim through our children's school and the Arataki community. We're also teammates in a local social netball team and wanted to help support them during this difficult time.
Everday expenses to help ease the financial burden for Jay and his family after a sudden brain haemorrhage changed their lives.
