Here's a link to Alys's latest blog. Also a photo of Alys's niece Ria's first birthday. They all got to spend it together which was amazing for the family that are already there. Chris and I leave on Sunday and Rory and Ely on the 22nd. We get to all be there to celebrate the first anniversary of Alys and Matt's wedding which will be a goal achieved. Page will close soon but please everyone keep an eye on Alys's blog so you follow her progress and some of ours. All of your support so very much appreciated and will never be forgotten. It has given our family a new strength to go forward knowing we have so much support and love behind us xxx

I assumed that every time I said a personal thank you on the give a little page that this would be emailed to the generous person donating, seems not. I have met quite a few people who have mentioned to me that they've been so happy to be able to donate and when I asked did you receive my thanks ... the answer no, but that's ok you know ? But not so ok by me so please everyone check this page or else I'm going to be very busy texting or messaging everyone that has been so amazing helping us achieve such a great result. Can I ask everyone to keep sharing the page please, we've got a month to go. I love this photo of Tom and Alys that she posted the other day. Love you lot xx

Not too sure how to link Alys's blog, bit challenged this morning but the address at least is below and will give you an update on the results from a very very important scan. Will keep the page open a little longer as some friends have asked me to so they can still donate. Not much longer now and I'll close it. Everyone has been amazing and our family so appreciative. Loved the sisterly chemo hats ....:

So lovely to be able to share a photo of our youngest daughter being able to snuggle her wee nephew Thomas after a very long solo trip to the UK. Once again thank you all so much for your kind words and financial support

After so much hard work Matt (Alys's hero of a husband) managed to secure the family a home for 6 months. This means we can all come and go and try to give Alys and her family the 'normal' routine of their day to day life. It's just down the road so we will be neighbours...look out Damson Lane is all I can say. A big thank you to Matt who had to put some serious hard yards in and to you all who have supported us and continue to x

  • Amazing support from you all

      6 July 2017

As a family, we have been blown away by all your wonderful contributions so far. The messages of kindness, concern and love have given us all strength. It takes courage for our family to share such a private time for us all, and to get so much support both financially and emotionally in return is amazing. Can't thank you all enough and... I really

hope Alys likes these photos or I'm in big trouble x
