Help us support kids living in a slum in Nairobi, Kenya receive the sort of education they need to reach their full potential
Wellington
Ian and Robyn are heading to Kenya in September to volunteer at the Tamariki Learning Centre, a school set up by a New Zealand couple from Raumati in a slum on the outskirts of Nairobi. The school and the Education as a Shield Trust receive no funding and relies entirely on donations. Which is where you fit in…
We are involved in this cause as we are traveling to Nairobi to volunteer at the school and will be able to see first hand the benefits of your generosity.
The money we raise will go towards the basics our NZ kids and parents take for granted like a water tank so the kids have clean water to drink, uniforms, stationery and basic equipment.
Thank you so much for your generous support of our cause. As I am unable to thank you personally please accept this public thank you - the children of the Tamariki Learning Centre in Nairobi will certainly benefit from your financial generosity. Warm regards Ian and Robyn Ingleton
