Jardin Whanga Elliott - Taken too soon -
On Saturday night (2nd July 2016) he attended a 21st. Early on Sunday morning (3rd July 2016 - 3.30am) he was found unconscious on the road in a pool of his blood with horrific and life threatening injuries to his head. On Tuesday the (5th July 2016) we were told he had passed.
It is said that he was invited to the 21st birthday and then chased by 16/17 people, and then beaten.
He had only just turned 21. He was a respectful, gentle, loving person who kept out of trouble and was loved by everyone. He was an aspiring rap artist and writer, and so talented. He is the oldest child with many siblings and will be sadly missed by them all and more. Although we have lost a precious taonga (gift) he has left behind taonga of his own - his family - His mum, dad, siblings, grandmas and aunty.
These are the ones he would want us to help - These are the ones who will need help the most
Every single $ helps - donate as little as $1 or more its up to you and all proceeds go to his whanau.
**UPDATE**
The funds will be used to pay a variety of Expenses. I don't know what they are exactly right now, but I know it's gonna be hefty....These may include and not be limited to Travel expenses, Funeral /Undertaker Expenses, Ministerial Services, Accommodation (Wellington) & Marae Expenses, Money borrowed (if any) to get Jardin Released and to Start a Fund for Jardins Unveiling and headstone, this way E.J & Richie and their families know it has been taken care of by the generosity and love of Whanau, Friends and Total Strangers - I Thank you On behalf of the Whanau Pani Xoxo
I am involved because I am Jardin's aunty - one of many who loved him very much. I was brought up with his mother and his father and we have always had a close connection. I was devastated when I heard the news - it happened in Wellington and I'm live in Auckland - So if there is anything I can do for them, it's givealittle - and I know that they need the help. I heard about givealittle and thought it's worth a try
If I had heaps of dollars I would have just helped them out right - anyone in my family would have - but I don't and I know that they still have a long journey home to the Mighty Waikato - So please be generous and GIVE A LITTLE :D
Thank you so much
