Aiden took part in the 3rd Hawke's Bay Rapid Junior Tournament in Napier on 2 May 2015. This was the first official tournament to Aiden. He was only one awarded as the best player in the under 10 years old group.
Aiden will be going to Auckland take part in Junior Tournament of the 38th Trusts Chess Open between 30 May and 1 June 2015. Aiden has paid his entry fee of the tournament as well as bought flight tickets and booked hotel with his dad.

On 19 April 2015, Aiden was in a Wellington kids team to play chess match with a Madison kids team online. Each team had 8 school children.
Though Aiden's opponent was one year older than him, Aiden won the match and gained one point adding to the Wellington team.
This match was Aiden's first international match.
