Help Support Arleah Through Her Recovery

Raising funds to support Arleah through her healing and recovery from cancer.

Dunedin, Otago

In November of 2023, doctors found a large abdominal mass, that we have found out was a rare yolk sac germ cell ovarian cancer. At just age 21, Arleah has had to go through a major surgery (midline laparotomy) and slow recovery through the Christmas period, to then be needing an aggressive 9 week minimum course of BEP chemotherapy, in which she will be losing her hair.

No one should ever have to go through this horrible situation, and it’s especially hard at such a young age. It has been a really hard time for both Arleah and her family, and we appreciate all the kindness we have received so far on this rough journey.

Not only has Arleah been struggling with her health, but her fiancé Austin also has suffered through two collapsed lungs (spontaneous pneumothorax) meaning that both are without their usual source of income, relying on their rapidly dwindling rainy day fund. We are not usually ones to ask for help but in a situation completely out of our control any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can spare anything, we will be forever grateful and appreciate you all so much for your love and support.

Use of funds

General living costs, Look Good Feel Better equipment (eg wigs), Treatment costs (we are unsure of any additional treatment costs at this time but will update when we know)
