Crystal Cook New Zealand Muaythai Kickboxing World Championship Thailand August 2015

Hi my name is Crystal Cook I am 12 years old and I have been doing Martial Arts since i was 9, I do my training at Hibiscus Coast MMA and Smac Gym. I train in Muaythai Kickboxing, MMA and boxing. I've recently been selected to represent and be a part of the New Zealand Muaythai Kickboxing Team to fight at the world Muaythai Kickboxing Championships in Thailand this coming August 2015. I am now seeking support, funding and sponsorship to help me achieve my goals. I'm attending training camps and learning from best instructors New Zealand has to offer. I am half Maori and half Tongan i was born in New Zealand I was adopted and the age of 4 and a half months as i have special needs. Having special needs has never got in the way of me achieving my goal of competing at a championship level. I have recently started my first year at Whangaparaoa College school, i tend to struggle with my learning in some areas due to my disabilities but the disciplines of Muaythai has helped me stay as focused as i can. I going to do well in Thailand and hope to bring home a medal for New Zealand and this will leave me ranked 1,2 or 3rd in the world, my dream come true.

Some of the things I love doing:

Once a week I go riding with Riding for Disabled (RDA).

I enjoy chilling and hanging out with my friends, listening to music, going to the beach, movies.

I also enjoy taking photos especially animals and flowers. I enjoy dance. I love Hot Hula (Island Styles) and do Belly Dancing.

A lot of the time I just love chilling with mum and my family. They are my world. Have added photos in gallery.
