Help Dan and his beloved partner, Ashleigh during his road to recovery after his accident which has left his OE dream in shatters.
Auckland
Things went horribly wrong on a night out and a game of rugby in Bath, England.
Dan fell several storeys from a building which has left him with many broken bones including his arm, compound fracture in his leg, facial fractures and broken pelvis.
Dan is lucky to have survived the fall and now faces months of rehabilitation. Those of you who know Dan know that he will be strong and battle through his recovery.
If you can give a little and show support for Dan it will make a massive difference for him. Ashleigh has been by his side while in intensive care.
I see any bit that's donated as helping to support Dan with his recovery and Ashleigh being able to be there for him. It will also be helpful for when and if they need to return to NZ.
Anything that is donated will help provide some peace of mind by assisting them with their finances during such a challenging and difficult time so that they can focus on Dan's rehabilitation. To date, Dan's health support has been covered under Britain's National Health Service.
I'm the sister of Dan's partner, Ashleigh. They have both been in London on a working visa and traveling when possible as part of their OE. Their OE is now in shatters due to Dan's accident and he will have a long road ahead of him. The purpose of me setting this give a little page up is due to them being so far away and any financial support would mean the world to them during this time.
He remains in hospital so any amount donated will be greatly appreciated and 100% of the funds will be
going towards supporting both Dan and Ashleigh.

Please be advised that the NZ Herald published an article without speaking to anyone. They have retracted their information off this page and due to not reaching out, they have failed to mention that Dan's medical bills have been covered under Britain's National Health Service; which was noted in the article written by stuff and daily mail australia because they spoke with the couple directly.
This page was set up to support them while he is focusing on his rehabilitation.
Life still goes on even during hardships, bills still flow in, work life pressures still shadow you and financial commitments truck along in the background.
Neither of these guys ever ask for hand outs or support, it was me, a worried sister from the other side of the world who set this page up. I set this up, because I care about them and want to make sure they are okay! There's only so much one can do from the other side of the world in a different time zone. The reality is, their dreams of travel have come to a halt at this time. Ash travels 2.5 hours to be by his bedside. They are both incredibly strong and brave and people need to realise that accidents happen. An accident never defines who someone is. It just becomes part of their story, a lesson learned and an experience to grow from and teaches strength and courage.
The last thing these two need is hurtful, judgmental comments while they are trying to focus on the positives every day.
