Sadly, Dan's journey has ended a lot sooner than any of us ever expected. On June 9th 2016 Dan left this earth to be with his Lord in heaven! The 8 weeks leading up to this were a roller coaster of grief and happy memories for Carrie and their family and friends. Dan kept smiling right to the end and blessed so many lives!
This 'Give a Little' page will remain open for a while longer as there may be people out there that would like to financially contribute to the funeral costs and the ongoing support that Carrie will need as she faces the obvious changes that life will now hold for her.

Dan & Carrie are an amazing young couple who live in the Bay of Plenty. They have recently celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary. Just one year into their marriage Dan was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Dan is 28 years old. Sadly, after multiple surgeries and treatments of the last 5 years the tumour has grown and is not responding to chemo. Dan had a seizure recently that has caused weakness on his left side which means there is a need to purchase a vehicle that is suitable for his mobility needs.
As you can imagine, the life changes that are ahead of them as they journey this road will bring a great deal of financial cost.
We would love to see Dan & Carrie to be able to achieve some of their bucket list in the coming days.
Dan & Carrie are staying positive and not giving up!
Carrie continues to work full time and does an amazing job supporting Dan through it all.
Up until this point Dan has been working part time also but it would now appear that he may not be able to continue.

Ongoing Support for Carrie and family 21 June 2016
Thank you so much to all who have supported Dan & Carrie financially over the past few months. Your help enabled Dan & Carrie to purchase a new vehicle and Dan was able to enjoy a ride in an Aston Martin, a blat around the speedway track in a sprint car and also a drifting experience in Taupo.

Last Tuesday (14th June) we farewelled Dan with an awesome celebration of his life. He will always be in our hearts. We are all so honoured to have been a part of his life.
