0n the 11 of June lockie was involved in a freak accident that has changed his life forever.

Canterbury

On the 11 of April Lockie was on a school camp doing what every normal 10 year boy would do. They were playing mini golf when the accident happen. A golf club hit my son in his eye changes all our life's forever. Lockie will have ongoing treatments and surgery but this will never give him back what he has loss.

I'm lockie mother and I had to cut back for full time work to 8 hours a week to care for lockie over this time. Lockie has 5 other sibling and its been hard on everyone. I worker through a temp agency as a carer / youth worker

Use of funds

Funds raised will be spents on the financial burden,on going treatment and full time care. . I dont get holiday pay because I'm Thur a temping agent. And acc paid for the surgerys. We still have to pay for cost to and from hospital and the ongoing cost to the eye clinic etc.in addition to daily living costs.
