Sam has beaten all the odds to be here with us today. In August 2013 was told nothing could be done for him. We brought him home to die.
Nelson / Tasman
In April 2013 Sam fighting for his life with double pneumonia. Outcome of that is now has chronically abnormal lungs. August 2013 Sam fighting for life again with Leukaemia, and had part bowel removed. Spent most of last 2 years in and out of hospital. Has had chemotherapy no guarantee of his life span. Sam worked as a builder by trade and now cannot work at all. Those last 2 years have taken a toll on him financially and Sam feels that he is a failure due to not being able to provide to cover all the bills that have accumulated and day to day living is a major struggle. I have been caring for him over this time so I cannot work either. If by putting this cause up we could get some financial relief then Sam could start enjoying the time that he has with us instead of worrying all the time. Sam is a wonderful man who would do anything for anyone in need. To put a smile back on his face would be the most wonderful thing.
I am Sam's wife and have been looking after him. Just watching him constantly stressing when he should be enjoying and making the most of his life is very disheartening. Someone put me onto this site as there are wonderful people out there that think just like us. We are constantly playing forward to others in many ways. Life is to live, love and enjoy family and friends.
