Supporting our Hayley in this Hard Time

As a lot of you know, our lovely Hayley has found herself dealing with myxoid liposarcoma for the past 3 years and is now in a position of the unthinkable; her cancer has metastasised and she has been told it’s at the point that it is no longer curable.

While they are unable to give her definitive time frames, depending on whether she decides to engage in palliative treatment or not, it’s likely she will have 6 months to a few years to live.

Over this next period, while Hayley makes some decisions about her options, we want to ensure that she has the opportunity to make some memories and tick a few items off the bucket list.

There are still a lot of unknowns, but the one thing she has decided on is that she wants to travel and make some memories while she is still feeling well/like herself before she considers starting further treatment in May. This give a little has been made to ensure that above and beyond meeting all of her needs, she can live a lifetime experience in what would have been another 50 or so years, in whatever time she has left.

This is a position no one wants to find themselves in and we are determined to ensure Hayley lives her last moments with quality of life with an absolute bang.
