Supporting Haley and Liam

Just last week, life changed without warning for Haley and Liam and their beautiful 2-year-old daughter. Their second baby girl Hazel came into the world far too soon — born at just 24 weeks and 1 day, weighing a tiny 450 grams. She is so small she fits in the palm of a hand, yet she is fighting every single moment to grow strong to go home with her mum, dad and big Sister.

Right now, their precious baby is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Wellington hospital, hooked up to life-saving machines, receiving round-the-clock care. Her parents are by her side every day, staying strong whilst praying for her to grow strong.

This young family is going through the hardest chapter of their lives. They are exhausted, emotionally and physically, but their love for their girls is keeping them strong. They are doing everything they can, but they can’t do it alone.
