Giving a little to Marcus and family to support them on this journey.
Kohimarama, Auckland
Marcus (12years) was diagnosed Stage 3 t-acute Lymphoblastic lymphoma just before Christmas 2021. This naturally came as such a shock to his family and to all of us. Our fit, sporty, smiley Marcus is having to go through so much at such a young age and has been an absolute trooper through his treatment so far. He has had numerous surgeries, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, scans, medication and this will be ongoing for approximately 9 months. Friends and family have been a huge support for Marcus, Annette, Dave, Lindsay and Owen and I know they are so grateful for the care and love around them. This is set up to alleviate some financial stress while Annette has given up work & Dave juggles his, to be there for their boy.
George and some of his mates are planning to shave their hair like Marcus..., so a haircutting session will be coming up soon. All welcome!
Family friends since Marcus started at St Thomas' with George in Year 1, 8 years ago.
Hospital costs, parking, petrol & related expenses. Marcus is hoping to get a laptop too.
A HUGE THANK YOU - from the Bethell Family 25 May 2022
Annette and Dave would like to thank friends and family from around the world who have donated. They have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity and this has been a huge help to them.
George & Ollie promised Marcus they would shave their head in support, so here's the proof, with the support crew right behind them!
