Our superstar admin team of 5 are planning to have a catch up in person next March. They were once strangers yet signed on to moderate and managed this group as it surged in popularity. They did it purely out of the goodness of their hearts, because they care so much about helping all of us navigate through this challenging time. There is a great deal that goes on behind the scenes as well as on the page. They spend hours a week moderating, researching, supporting and reading questions and comments. They have faced difficult challengers, deep dived into research for us, encouraged us, nudged us and given us all really good advice. They have pored water on the flames in beautify diplomatic ways and demanded we be heard when we were being failed (faulty patches, Pharmac funding, supply issues) and have kept us so well informed on these issues as they arose and as they continue to unfold. How lucky and proud we are to have them in our tribe, selflessly put their hats in the ring to wrangle all 20,000 of the overheating and sometimes irritable as hell meno maidens that we are. With their permission I suggested setting up a Give-a-little page to help fund some of their travel cost to their ‘in person get together’ and perhaps a dinner out to show our absolute gratitude for all that they do.
