By last night the Yakity Yak girls were half way through their journey of the north Island and having such a good time while keeping those legs turning. They enjoyed the change of environment in the lush and beautiful Pureora Forest. Disappointingly we haven't reached the half way mark of our fundraising yet but are very close. Donna, Sharon and Rosemary are now a week onto their ride and having a great time, enjoying the sights, people and adventure. Yesterday they motored from one end of Auckland to the other and today they sped across the Hauraki Plains and are now relaxing in Thames. They extend a big thank you to Sue and Dave for welcoming them into their home in Dargaville and Annette and Lorna for taking care of them at Parakai. Donna, Sharon and Rosemary have now completed their second day of riding. Now 170 km from the start they are setting up camp in Rawene. Good riding Yakity Yak girls.
