Supporting Our Girl Jenna Through The Fight Of Her Life ❤️🩹
Auckland
Our beautiful friend Jen is going through something no one ever expects to face — especially not at 31, in the middle of IVF & building her dream life.
What started as shortness of breath was brushed off as just part of the IVF journey. After her egg retrieval, the symptoms didn’t ease. An x-ray discovered a large mass in her chest, 2 biopsies later & half a litre of fluid drained from around her heart, the doctors confirmed the life altering news; it’s cancer. it’s rare & it’s aggressive. It’s all happened so fast. Her treatment started immediately.
If there’s one thing you need to know about Jen, it’s that she is a fighter, she’s strong. With her fiancé Josh, her family & friends behind her every step of the way, we know she’ll get through this.
However, a diagnosis like this, no matter how strong she is. The hardest battle is yet to come. Being told she can’t do the job she loves, and having to shift her whole lifestyle, Jen & Josh’s whole lives have been put on pause — their businesses still need to run, and they need to focus on her surviving and healing.
This Givealittle page isn’t in Jen’s nature, but both her and Josh have had to step back from work, and need to have the space to focus on what matters most, which is getting her through this tough road ahead.
To know Jen is to love her, and right now she needs her village more than ever. Let’s show our support by donating below, anything would be most appreciated & will help lighten the load, just that little bit ❤️🩹
