Supporting our Mum/Nanna x🤍

Following years of medical appointments, tests, and trials, during which we were informed that nothing was amiss, we've received news that will test our strength. Our Mum/Nanna has been diagnosed with a rare stage 4 gallbladder cancer, adenocarcinoma , and we're facing a new reality. We’ve got roughly 4 months to get our acts together and do everything our Mum/Nanna wants to do. While this news is difficult to hear, we're focusing on the positive actions we can take. The proposed treatment we’ve been offered is immunotherapy, the name of the medicine is Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) and is estimated to cost around $100,000 in total, comprising roughly $7,000 for the medication and $2,000 for administration, totaling approximately just under $10,000 per treatment session. Despite this challenge, we're staying positive and committed to helping our Mum/Nanna as best as we can. She is eager to live life to the fullest and tackle her bucket list, and we're dedicated to supporting her every step of the way. Our hope is that she gets to do everything she wants before our time is up, as well as honouring her wishes around her funeral when that time does come. We know money is tight for a lot of people and we’re not expecting everyone to help but to those that can and are willing to we hope you can help us with that.
