Supporting Petra, JJ and Cheska

Recently Justin (Juf) Sims was taken from us unexpectedly and has turned Petra’s, JJ’s and Cheska’s lives upside down. This of course effected wider family members whom are located all around the world.

He was diagnosed with small-cell lung cancer on Wednesday 1st December and passed away in a coma in Christchurch ICU on the 4th of December.

He was a one in a billion guy, great husband and an amazing father. He was a great blend of strong, adventuress, a bit of a softy with a great sense of humour. He has left a huge hole.

As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for Petra, JJ and Cheska, not only emotionally but also financially. Hence creating this page to support them as much as we can.

So many people are reaching out to help in some way which is greatly humbling. The purpose of this give a little page is to provide a means for those who have reached out to do so. Please leave a message for them that they will read in due course, so that they are aware of the amazing support around them. For anyone who wanted to contribute to this page, this will help with the financial burden ahead for them as they adjust to their new lives.

I am Petra's younger sister
