Supporting Rachel and her Family ❤️
Ashburton, Canterbury
Rach has had a tough year with many highs and lows. On 26 January 2021 she was diagnosed metastatic caecal adenocarcinoma (Bowel Cancer) that had spread. After surgery & chemotherapy she was given the all clear. Bubbles were popped and celebration were plenty. During the 9 week cycle of chemotherapy she had developing hip pain. After many trips to the doctor and a CT scan this revealed the cancer had indeed returned. So the new fight had begun.
The tumour in her hip is inoperable and Rachel and her fiancé Brad have been doing everything possible to manage this tumour. In October she received radiation therapy which was unsuccessful. They have been seeking alternative treatment for a holistic approach.
It is our wish to help in every possible way to help Rach and her family get through this and by fundraising is one way that will ease some pressure.
Many people have asked how they can help? Every little bit helps so if you are in a position to donate we express so much gratitude to you. This will help in many ways so she can be with her family, fiancé Brad and her 2 beautiful girls Lilly and Ileana.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you so much for all of the love and support we have received. It really is appreciated. x
