Supporting Tania Karanga’s Surgery & Recovery Journey

Thank you for visiting our page. We have set up this fund to wrap our love around our beautiful Tania Karanga, who means the absolute world to our whānau. She is our anchor, and now it is our turn to be there for her.

Tania is currently facing major surgery to remove a large mass (CT scan photo below). While we are grateful for her medical team, the reality ahead is daunting. This highly complex procedure requires a significant hospital stay and a long recovery, meaning Tania will be completely unable to work.

Tania has spent more than 20 years helping others through life's toughest challenges. As a Whānau Ora Kaiwhiriwhiri, she works alongside whānau to achieve tino rangatiratanga, helping young and old access housing, employment, wellbeing, rehabilitation, and self-sufficiency—always putting others first.

Now facing her own health journey, Tania is focused on healing so she can return to the family and mahi she loves. We want to ensure she doesn't carry the heavy burden of financial stress, and your support will help ease this pressure.
