Support the Dowle family through the sudden loss of their much loved husband and father James 'Jim' Dowle

March 25, 1955 - July 17, 2018.
It is with great sadness that we have unexpectedly lost our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend Elder James 'Jim' Henderson Dowle.
Jim was much loved and was so willing and generous with his resources, talents, time, love and friendship - he will be dearly missed. As an Elder of the Hamilton SDA Community Whanau church Jim had a great love and zeal for the Lord and His truth.
Jim leaves behind his wife Gill and his children Amos (and Elispeta), Trinity (and Gary) and Mathias.
May we pull together to help our family cope with the financial strain that can come with the sudden loss of a loved one.
Photo was taken at Hokomenetai, the meeting house at Kopinga, the Moriori marae on Rēkohu (Chatham Island). Kā Pou o Rangitaikona, the centre post in the background, was one of his dearest projects he worked on, engraving on its five sides the names of the 1,561 Moriori who were alive when the islands were invaded in 1835.

I am a member of the Hamilton SDA Community Whanau Church of which Jim Dowle was an Elder. We are deeply saddened and would like to pull together to support our beloved Dowle family who have served our community so willingly.
Use of funds
Funds will be used to cover funeral expenses, additional funds will be used to support Gill, Amos, Trinity and Matthias through this time
