Softening the financial burden as the family navigates this difficult time.
Mataura, Southland
The Hape-Cramond’s are facing a difficult time as they navigate Nigel’s diagnosis of advanced colon and liver cancer.
They’re facing an uncertain path with a number of treatments and we hope this page may help in a meaningful way.
The family would greatly appreciate your support while they put things on hold to support Nigel through this time.

Funds raised are being paid to Nigel's eldest son Hunter who is looking after the financial side of the page on behalf of his parents
New treatment 24 September 2024
Just Lil update from Nigel:
Had some good news, with the help of foundation one genome testing they have found I have DNA miss/match defective repair gene . This is why ive been so unwell after chemo. They are stopping chemo therapy and are going onto immunotherapy treatment (keytruda). Which is one of the drugs that is funded from October. It detects and destroys cancer cells, it has a 60% chance to put the cancer into remission.
Have started treatment already.
Very excited and fingers crossed.
