Supporting the Hape-Cramond’s

  • New treatment

      24 September 2024

    Just Lil update from Nigel:

Had some good news, with the help of foundation one genome testing they have found I have DNA miss/match defective repair gene . This is why ive been so unwell after chemo. They are stopping chemo therapy and are going onto immunotherapy treatment (keytruda). Which is one of the drugs that is funded from October. It detects and destroys cancer cells, it has a 60% chance to put the cancer into remission.

    Have started treatment already.

    Very excited and fingers crossed.

  • Update on progress

      21 June 2024

Just a Lil update, halfway through chemo journey round 4 of 8. CT scan has shown 3cm reduction on large liver tumor and colon tumor had shrunk considerably. These are promising results that things are working. Fingers crossed for the rest of the treatment.

We would like to say thank you to everyone for all the kind words of support and generosity that has been shown. It has been very humbling and emotional to see this much love and kindness to help fight and stay positive through this tough journey.

    Thanks so much <3.
