Supporting the Laingholm Volunteer Fire Brigade to serve its community.

The Laingholm Volunteer Fire Brigade serves its local community nestled between Titirangi and Huia at the southern end of the Waitakere Ranges.

As with all volunteer fire brigades, Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) equips us well with training, personal protective equipment, a fire appliance, plus the core firefighting and medical equipment for us to do our job.

However, all Brigades are different, and have different needs and risk profiles, which means we often need to purchase and maintain equipment specific to our area.

A donation to Laingholm Volunteer Fire Brigade would support the maintenance and acquisition of additional and Laingholm specific equipment. For example:

- Further radios to ensure the whole team can communicate with each other at callouts and during training.

- Equipment to fight rural/scrub fires (we are unique in that we're a mix of urban and rural firefighters due to our location).

- Further first aid equipment to compliment our medicial First Response status (it's likely you'll see us first at a medical incident).

- Equipment to better enable members in training (physical and technical skills)
