Support Families affected by Cancer this Christmas

We are embracing the fact that Kiwi's love to help families in need, so Support Crew and Cancer Society Auckland need your help this Christmas. There are many people affected by cancer who are too unwell to cook for themselves and rely on donated meals. Right now, Cancer Society Auckland is struggling to keep up with the demand - and this is where we need your help.

Do something small to make a BIG difference this Christmas! Donate to a worthy cause and nominate a deserving family!

We need your help to raise $600 to help three families affected by cancer. This will provide each family with $200 worth of My Food Bag vouchers.

Support Crew has already donated the first $200 and we need your help to raise the remaining $400. Even a small donation will make a big difference to these deserving families this Christmas.

In addition, our friends at My Food Bag have generously donated a My Classic Food Bag Gift Voucher and Cookbook to these three families.

The best news is…the more money we raise; the more families we can help. Funds raised over $600 will be used to purchase My Food Bag Gift Vouchers for Cancer Society Auckland to donate to more families in need.

Our friends at Cancer Society Auckland have identified two extremely deserving families to receive the first two $200 My Food Bag Gift Vouchers and we need your help to find the third.

Most of us know a family undergoing cancer treatment and we would like to give you the opportunity to nominate the third recipient of our three families.

To do this, simply comment in the thread below by saying who and why you’d like to ease the burden for your nominated family this Christmas.

To qualify families’ nominees must like the Support Crew Facebook page and nominated families must:

- be a New Zealand resident

- reside within the delivery locations of My Food

- have a family member affected by Cancer

- have their name posted in the thread below by

Friday 16th December 2016 at 5.00pm.

- be able to be contacted by Tuesday 20th

December 2016 at 12.00pm if selected.

The nominated family will be selected by Support Crew at their discretion. The decision is considered final and no correspondence will be entered into.

My Food Bag Gift Vouchers purchased for these families won’t be purchased in conjunction with any other My Food Bag promotion or offer running at the time of purchase.

The fundraising activities are the responsibility of Support Crew, and whilst supported by Cancer Society Auckland and My Food Bag, Support Crew assumes responsibility for all fundraising activities.

The fundraising page on Givealittle has been moderated under their terms and conditions.

All donations will be made transparent to Cancer Society Auckland. Any additional funds raised over and above $600.00 will be used to purchase additional My Food Bag Gift Vouchers and donated and distributed through Cancer Society Auckland.
