Shona Hammond Boys is the founder of the NZ Children's Arthouse Foundation. It is a privilege for me to know Shona, I am inspired by her dedication and passion. Shona has given 50 years of service to supporting children and their right to be creative. As an artist I know how difficult and time consuming applying for funding is. Why is it so ? supporting the future generation to achieve through art and creativity is paramount! Creative Children Ensure Creative Communities. The International Child Art Foundations 5th World Children’s Art Olympiad modelling the theme A CREATIVE MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY takes place in July. The Opotiki Children's Art House has been the film set for our National Showcase contribution to this world event. This event is held in Washington DC, USA.
