Support Te Amohaere

Kia Ora Koutou Katoa,

On behalf of Te Amohaere and our whanau we would like to thank everyone who has supported us on this journey through donations, you have all ‘lightened the load’ so to speak and have made this journey for our whanau a lot easier, and thank you all for your love, support and prayers. Te Amohaere is getting all of those it, shows through the strength she has while doing chemo. If you see her on her good days, you would not know that she is unwell, so thank you all again.

We would like to acknowledge Dr Lance and Whaea Tracey O’Sullivan and their beautiful whanau who have been there from the beginning of Te Amohaere’s diagnoses of Hepatoblastoma. They have been there every step of the way, and words cannot express of how thankful we are for all that you’s have done and are doing for our kotiro and our whanau.

Big Thanks to the Moko team for your aroha and support not only to TeAmohaere and myself but also for looking out for my husband and your team mate Vince, and Sally while we are away on our chemo treatments at Starship.

Thanks to the Navilluso team for your karakias, [prayers] and support.

A big thank you to the Ahipara Surf Life Saving Club, who done a BBQ outside the Warehouse and donated the proceeds to Georgia Buckingham and TeAmohaere, too much gals and guys. Special thanks to Tina for bringing the girls in for a visit while we were in Starship.

Thanks to Magical Mascots and Whaea Tinaka, for your mahi and aroha to TeAmohaere, too much.

A big thanks to Marley QuickFit, too much bro TeAmohaere will be on board when she’s finished treatment!!

Thanks to St Johns Kaitaia for your support, TeAmohaere is looking forward to coming back when she is done with chemo.

To Mike and Helen from the Laundry Mat in the Plaza, thank you both for everything, for the beautiful ham to the awesome gifts and her Christmas bonus!! God bless you both.

Thank you to Lisa and Brad from CBEC for letting me have the time off work to be with TeAmohaere, and for the lovely basket of goodies sent to starship thanks CBEC staff.

Thank you to our whanau and friends, Uncle Ngametua, Aunty Justine, Melody and Mahara for bringing tea to the Ronald McDonald House and your koha, much love. Uncle Nga and Aunty Cherie for bringing tea too!! To my sister in law Maine and niece Rose and her partner Jay and my grand nephew Tyrell thank you for the visits we know you have a busy household so thank you for taking the time we love you so much.

A special thank you to Aunty Helen and Kiri whom I haven’t seen for years, thank you for coming and meeting our daughter TeAmohaere, beautiful people.

Thank you to Charlie Collier and Debbie Leaf and their tamariki. I have not met Charlie before but while TeAmohaere was in Kaitaia Hospital, Charlie and his tamariki were visiting his partner Debbie and saw TeAmohaere, and out of the blue came up to me and handed me a koha from him and his whanau. Nga mihi bro and thank you again.

To our special neighbours across the road Peter and Raewyn Jackson, thank you for the fresh veges and the koha and for looking out for our house when we are not home.[ and our dogs!

To everyone who has been a part of this journey whether it be through donations,support and prayer we give it all back to you. We want to wish you all well God Bless you all and take care and we wish you all the best for the New Year.
