being the founder of a non for profit I always want to be seen challenging myself mentally, physically, spiritually or emotionally. We see young people learn every week something new about themselves or a new trick on their skateboards or in the water or they learn something new about the person next to them. If i'm not continually challenging myself and learning why should I expect someone else to challenge themselves and keep learning. This year The money goes towards getting surf equipment to give young people around the city more access to getting in the water and surfing. we all know the benefit of surfing on your well being so we want to make sure more and more young people get the opportunity to get out there.
