Lisa's Wish looks after children of parents who have cancer and are participating in an Outdoor Activity Award Scheme to gain confidence.
Auckland
Lisa's Wish Charitable Trust are joining William Pike Challenge Award Scheme, along with Big Foot Adventures who are providing the outdoor activities. The children of parents with cancer will be staying over night learning survival skills in the Hunua Ranges. This will be one of their outdoor activities required for the year. We are looking to have six children complete this award this year. Your generous donation towards this Award for our children is very much appreciated
I want to see these children reach their goal to learn, do, participate and take home stories of fun to their parent who is undergoing, or has at some stage undergone, treatment for cancer. These families need fun and laughter during their roller coaster life. These children are NOT provided for through any other charity and we pride ourselves in carrying out Lisa's Wish to help. Lisa passed away April 2009 aged 29 years
Our vision is to bring smiles through opportunities that ensure children and youth excel at and enjoy exciting, fun times and cover a variety of activities supported solely through donations. Our goal each year is to reach out to children who are affected by their parent, or caregiver, having cancer and sustain the health and well-being of these children.
Goal still to be reached 29 March 2015
