Diagnosed with Early Onset Alzhiemers at age 55, our goal is to take Sue around the world to live out her dream while she still can!

On 21/08/14, at the age of 55, Susan Robertson was diagnosed with Early Onset of Alzheimers.
After spending her entire life giving to others and raising two boys as a single parent, Sue's brain has decided it is time for a rest.
Sadly, she is only half way through her life and has so many things she regrets not being able to do.
Our goal is to give Sue the trip overseas that she always dreamed of. To see the sights and experience the cultures with the little time she has left.
The idea is to film her entire journey and produce a video filled with memories so that even long after the Alzheimers has taken over, she can still relive, revisit and maybe even remember these amazing experiences.
Unable to work, drive, cook, bake or go places alone, life is getting tougher each day.
We are reaching out for any support that you can offer to make this possible and we appreciate your kind consideration.
My money will be used to pay for mum's flights, accommodation and spending money. It will also support my trip as her carer.
Mum's first goal is to travel across Europe/UK visiting places such as the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseums, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Stone Henge etc.
***UPDATE***
Thanks to Flight Centre and Trafalgar Travel, Mum and I will be travelling to London for a two night stay to see all of the sights and then touring through Europe for 8 days stopping in Paris, Italy, Venice and more, and ending in Rome where we will stay for two nights! We will also be stopping in Dubai for two nights on the way back!

Because of this and the amount raised we have changed what the money we have raised will be spent on:
Allocation of funds raised (for two people):
$2000 spending money
$3000 lunch, dinner and snacks
$3000 additional activities on and off the tour
$2000 food, accommodation and activities in Dubai
$500 Travel Insurance

As her son and primary caregiver, I have a responsibility to do all I can to make the most out of every second we have with mum.
She sacrificed so much to raise me and my brother as a single parent. She missed out on so many opportunities and lost so much time.
Our goal is make sure that in her last few years she can live out those dreams and do things she never thought she ever would.
