This lovely swan was attacked by a person in Western Springs, its wing broken at the shoulder suggesting a pretty heavy blow was given. Our wonderful vet, only charges for the actual surgery not his time. How good is that! He/She will now be given a safe and caring home at a bird Sanctuary.
