Sweet Danny boy needs our help

Danny is a 17 year old New Zealand Standardbred gelding who was destined for dog food. November 16 2012 Danny was unloaded from the truck as his new owner stood in shock. 14 year old Hannah stood looking at her new horse who had come from a place that left Danny with unimaginable scars both physically and mentally.

Over the years they have faced many obstacles together including the most recent that begun just last Monday Danny presented with colic symptoms last Monday and Hannah had the local vets out. He got worse on the Tuesday so got transferred to Canterbury Equine where he received care. He came home on Friday, but again today presented with Colic symptoms and local vets transferred him to Canterbury Equine again.

He's impacted and really unwell, so will be staying there till he gets better. He's currently on an IV drip and being monitored 24/7. Hannah needs our help. With travel, vet fees as well as leave from work and a possible surgery for Danny that could cost twelve thousand dollars I'm asking everyone to please donate even if it's just $1 it all adds up.
